MAIN ACTIVITIES
UNITÉCNICA:
- Engineering of projects of industrial plants,
mainly within Mechanics and Piping (budget, emission of
data sheets, emission of technical specifications, emission
of purchase specifications, purchase aid, verification
of suppliers documentation, engineering solutions and
implementation designs).
- Flexibility analysis through the use of
TRIFLEX software.
Analysis of stress and fatigue, including the Method of
Finite Elements with the use of ANSYS software.
- Mechanical dimensioning and detailing of
process static equipments such as vessels, heat exchangers,
tanks, furnaces, reactors and so on, according to international
codes: ASME, API, TEMA and additional guidelines (mainly
PETROBRAS guidelines). Use of CODECALC, PVELITE and personal
software.
- Mechanical dimensioning of rotating equipments,
particularly mills, furnaces, dryers, fans, decanters,
screw pumps and mud condensers.
Dimensioning of pumping systems with verification of load
loss, tubing analysis, calculation of hydraulic transients
(water hammer) and determination of support exertion.
- Mechanical calculation and stress analysis
for nuclear area equipments by the method of finite elements:
reactor pressure vessel, internal parts of the reactor,
secondary main condenser, pressurizer, steam generator,
regenerative and non-regenerating exchangers, containment
of the primary system and primary pumps.
- Calculation and detailing of agitation systems
for mixers and reactors.
- Calculation of metal structures according
to IACS and the Method of Finite Elements.
- Projects of exhaustion systems for Particulates
and Gases, including ventilation, gas washing and pneumatic
transport.
